Motion Control – Hybrid Ceramic Ball Radial Bearings

Longmeadow, MA –Motion Control – CERAMICSPEED Hybrid Radial Corrotec/CorroCoat Bearings are designed for environments of high humidity, have been approved in accordance with FDA 21 CFR (Code of Federal Regulation covering medicine and food), and have an EC No. 1935/2004 authorization. Superior life and performance when compared to bearings made from just stainless steel, Corrotec/CorroCoat Bearings feature Stainless Steel races with CorroCoat, a coating with extremely high corrosion resistance and friction suppressant properties, hard, very smooth ceramic balls that will not deform or spall under high loads, and synthetic material ball cages.

Sealed and open CERAMICSPEED Hybrid Radial Corrotec/CorroCoat Bearings are each available in 30 different sizes from 10 mm to 50 mm (inside dia.) and 26 mm to 90 mm (outside diameter). Sealed bearings have a maximum speed of 19000 rpm (10 mm id. 26 mm od.) to 4800 rpm (50 mm id. 96 mm od.) and open bearings have a maximum speed of 40000 rpm (10 mm id. 26 mm od.) to 10000 rpm (50 mm id. 96 mm od.) All components of a bearing: Races, balls, cages, and seals as well as the NSF-H1 registered lubricant are approved for contact with food.
