The AU200-100×100 stage is a low profile stage measuring just 80 mm (3.150 in.) high with a compact footprint (including the motors) of 348 mm x 348 mm (13.701 in. x 13.701 in.) The linear travel of the X and Y axes is 100mm x 100mm (3.937 in. x 3.937 in.), and the resolution of each axis is 20 microns (non-micro-step) or 1 micron (20 micro-steps per step motor driver in use), repeatability is 2 microns, and the positional accuracy is 3 microns.

Motion Control – Zirconia Ceramic Radial Bearings

To Complement LM76’s broad range of Linear Bearings that are FDA/UDSA/3A Dairy compliant, as well as linear bearings for extreme environments; they have added Deep Groove bearings which accommodate radial and axial loads, Angular Contact bearings for simultaneously handling radial and axial loads, Spherical Bearings which are self aligning, and Thrust Bearings for high axial loads. Each of the four types of metric bearings are available in a wide range sizes.

The advantages of ZrO2 ceramic balls are: FDA/USDA/3A Dairy/Caustic washdown compliant, lighter than steel balls and can be used at extreme RPMs, they withstand higher loads without spalling, have a lower coefficient of friction, are inert to chemicals, have no magnetic signature, and are non conductive.

The AU200-15×15-01 Motorized Stage (pictured) and the AU200-15×15-04 Motorized Stage are powered by Two-Phase Stepper Motors and have high 0.25 micron resolution and high 1.5 micron repeatability.

The AU200-15×15-04 stage includes Quadrature encoders for position verification. Both stages have a large 3.54 in. x 3.54 in. (90 mm x 90 mm) platform with large open aperture and feature standard 1 mm-per-turn ground lead screws, and precision V-grove and Cross Roller guides.

This high precision miniature size rotary stage is just 35 mm (1.378 in.) high and the footprint including the standard 2-phase 1.8 degree stepper motor is only 58 mm (2.283 in) by 100.5 mm (3.957 in ). The table has a precision pattern of 6 8-M2x4L threaded mounting holes in the rotary table for fixtures or tooling, and an 8 mm (0.315 in) diameter through hole.
