Electromate – Harmonic Drive  Servo Actuator

Featuring BiSS-C Harmonic Drive fha-24v-002bi-directional communication for both encoders. The AU200-120×120 Alignment Stages feature 120 mm (4.724 in.) of travel in both the X and Y axes.  These new low profile 87 mm (3.425 in.) high XY stages, have a 188 mm x 188 mm (7.401 in. x 7.401 in.) open aperture.  Easy integration of tooling and fixtures is facilitated through a precision series of threaded mounting holes.

Motion Control – Miniature Voice Coil Motor!

Van Nuys, CA – Motion Control Components – Moticont is introducing their most compact miniature hollow core linear actuator; the HVCM-016-010-003-01 Linear Voice Coil Motor, featuring a 0.125 in. (3.2 mm) open aperture and high force-to-size ratio. This miniature open aperture actuator is a true DC Linear Servo Motor. Quiet and clean, this non-commutated, miniature brushless servo motor features: Zero cogging and zero backlash when connected directly to a load, high acceleration/deceleration, and high speed. Measuring just 0.625 in. (15.9mm) by 0.625 in. (15.9mm) long at mid-stroke it has a continuous force rating of 5.0 oz. (1.4 N) and a peak force of 15.7 oz (4.4 N) at a 10% duty cycle.

Motion Control – Linear Voice Coil Motor Tolerates Tilting

Van Nuys, CA — Motion Control – Moticont has added a new 1.25 in (31.8 mm) stroke linear DC motor to its series of LVCM Linear Voice Coil Motors. The new LVCM-051-051-06 Linear Voice Coil Motor has been designed with a larger radial air gap to tolerate the tilting and misalignment that can be experienced when clamping out of parallel objects or moving off-center loads. This compact linear motor is 2.000 in (50.8 mm) in dia. with a 2.00 in. (50.8 mm) long housing and at mid stroke is just 2.88 in. (73.0 mm).  Peak force is 9.5 lb (42.2N) at a 10% duty cycle and continuous force is 3.0 lb (13.3 N). Features of this low inertia, high acceleration / deceleration, clean, efficient, zero cogging, brushless voice coil servo motor makes it ideal for: Sorting, packaging, sampling, work holding and clamping, laser machining and drilling, wafer handling, and medical and pharmaceutical applications.

Van Nuys, CA —– Motion Control – Build-to-Order High Precision XZR Positioning Stages (X-axis, Z-axis, and Rotary- axis) are the newest addition to the OES (Optimal Engineering Systems, Inc.) family of motion control stages.  When specifying an XZR stage a user can select from a combination of linear stages with travel lengths of 15 mm, 30 mm, 50 mm, and 75 mm for the X and Z axes that feature high precision 1 mm per turn lead screws.  For the rotary axis a 60 mm diameter rotary table or 100 mm diameter rotary table are available.

Motion Control – 600 MM Vertical Lift Stages

Van Nuys, CA – Motion Control – The new AT20-600 series of Motorized Vertical Lift Stages from Optimal Engineering Systems, Inc. (OES) features a vertical lift of 600 mm.  The AT20-600-01 (pictured) is driven by a Two-Phase Stepper Motor features a repeatability of 5 microns, positional accuracy of 20 microns and has a knob on the motor for manual adjustment. The AT20-600-02 is driven by a Brushless DC Servo Motor with a Quadrature Incremental Encoder and the AT20-600-03 is driven by a DC Servo Motor with a Quadrature Incremental Encoder.  Each of the Servo Motor options, the -02 and -03 versions, offer higher travel speeds, increased positional accuracy, and repeatability.  The AT20-600-04 is driven by a Two-Phase Stepper Motor with a Quadrature Incremental Encoder mounted on the motor for position verification.
